Asst. Prof. Dr. Bülent Şen was born in Ankara in 1974. After his pre-undergraduate education, he graduated from the Gülhane Military Medical Academy Faculty of Medicine, which he entered in 1991, as the 6th in his class in 1997. He completed his specialization again at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy Faculty of Medicine and became a urology specialist in 2004.

After his specialization training, he was appointed to the Istanbul Gendarmerie Regional Command Dispensary as a urology specialist in 2004. He passed the assistant professorship exam in 2007.
